We’re looking for Chef.fes de cuisine to join our ranks of Montreal’s finest establishments. Our Méchant Bœuf, Brasserie 701 and Terrasse Nelligan restaurants are frequented by local and international clientele looking for delicious dishes to tantalize their taste buds.

HOW YOU CAN HELP CREATE MOMENTS OF HAPPINESS:
Impact on the reputation of the restaurant in collaboration with the Executive Chef
Development of a strong sense of belonging and team spirit within the brigade
Planning and preparation of menus for the restaurant
Daily inspection of the kitchen and its parameters
Responsible for customer experience through speed of service and quality of dishes presented
Mentor and train brigade members, primarily management team members.
Manage brigade members (hiring, training, scheduling, work distribution, performance evaluation, discipline, etc.).
Application of hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards in the workplace.
Management of financial resources (preparation of budgets, control of operating costs, etc.) and material resources (inventory management, procurement, negotiations with suppliers, etc.).
Food inventory management to ensure the quality of products used and minimize losses.
Monitoring purchases and the quality of goods received, and ensuring vigilance against theft.
Partnership with the dining room management team to ensure smooth overall running of restaurant operations.
Ongoing liaison with other hotel departments and various internal and external stakeholders.
PROFILE REQUIRED :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Bilingualism (French-English)
Availability evenings and weekends
